Our Office Staff is dedicated to your specific needs. We will work hard to provide the care, time, supplies and facilities needed for your healthcare. Our office staff will call the day prior to your appointment to confirm your appointment time. It is important for our established patients to call/schedule appointments as far in advance as possible. If it becomes necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let our office know at least 24 hours in advance so that we may give your appointment to another patient in need of such an appointment.

We do offer some same day appointmens and try to accommodate your needs as best as possible. If your emergency is after hours or on the weekend please call the office number 352-365-2550, and our answering service will contact Dr. Narain and he will return your call as soon as possible. Do not use any back line numbers that may show up on your caller ID, as our answering service does not have access to those numbers for after hour emergencies. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5p.m. The nurse will discuss your medical problems with the doctor and one of them will return your call during office hours, unless it is an emergency. If you must speak with Dr. Narain, he will return your call at the earliest time possible.

It is important that our office has your current insurance information. Please advise us immediately if you have any change in your insurance information, address or phone number. Dr. Narain is a participating physician in Medicare and many Medicare HMO's, Medicare Replacement Plans and accepts assignment. The office does bill Medicare directly. However, the patient is still responsible for the applicable deductible and co-pay for covered services. In the event you are hospitalized, our office will file an insurance claim and send a bill for the balance to your secondary insurance for you. All co-pays are due prior to your appointment. Initial examination, evaluation and treatment requiring an unusual amount of time, skull or judgment, will carry a greater charge than a brief examination or treatment. Payment for the office visit and any lab work is due the day that service is rendered. We understand that there are times when patients experience financial difficulties. Please discuss this with our business office supervisor and arrangements can be worked out for payment of services.
